Citrus Waskaduwa introduces novel resto-bar on wheels – ‘Happy Bug’ 

Citrus Waskaduwa has scored another first in its efforts to market the area as a hip and happening tourist destination, and to enhance the hotel’s offering of ‘Happiness Moments’.  The innovation is a mobile bar-cum-cafe constructed within a specially outfitted old Commer van, painted in a retro design drawing inspiration from surf culture. Operating as an extension of the hotel’s main bar, the ‘Happy Bug’ will ply along the half a kilometre beachfront of the hotel adding another dimension to the exciting activities on the beach. Guests will be able to avail themselves of a selection of drinks and food, including burgers and quick bites. The Citrus Waskaduwa Team is excited about the new product coming on board as a perfect example of its ethos of creating ‘Happiness Moments’ for guests.
