Life Online dropped by Park Street Mews to check out the recently opened restaurant Kuuraku Colombo, which serves authentic Japanese cuisine. Kuuraku is a Japanese franchise operating 33 restaurants globally. Their restaurants are located in Ginza a prestigious area of Tokyo, Montreal, Toronto, Jakarta, and in a couple of cities in India and also China. This is the first one in Sri Lanka.

Urban Green is a small and beautiful restaurant situated down Unity Place in Colpetty. They are very much quality oriented and try their best to keep the food as healthy as possible. But they also have a lot of options for those who like to go all out and enjoy some good food! All the furniture is made out of recycled wood and the kitchen is a recycled container. The place is inviting and a nice hang out spot.

They change their menu frequently and add interesting new items. So a few days ago we dropped by to check out what was new and we were not disappointed with the fare.
Sea Food Club is the newly opened seafood restaurant at Grandeeza hotel in Negombo. The restaurant overlooks the lagoon and the hotel’s pool giving it a good view. It’s easy to locate and is one of the few places in Negombo that you can go to enjoy a good meal overlooking the lagoon.

If it’s Indian cuisine you like, then you’ve got to visit Flavors at Galadari. We dropped by to check out what was new at Flavors and here’s what we thought of our experience. Serving an array of North and South Indian cuisine, this is a pleasant and welcoming place to go to with friends or family for a relaxed meal. They actually do a pretty good take on Indian cuisine.
After visiting Colombo Fort Caf, we were invited to try out the Summerlicious spreads at The Bayleaf and Harpo’s Pizza and Pasta Nugegoda. We first visited The Bayleaf. The interior and architecture of the restaurant certainly adds to the Summerlicious experience.
Since of late, my palate has been on strike. For some inexplicable reason my taste buds refuse to acknowledge flavours. Well most of them anyway. However determined not to let this temporary condition gain the best of me, I resorted to making food palatable accordingly.
