So what GRAZE KITCHEN has done starting on May 27 (this Saturday), is extend their lavish and scrumptious High Tea to two sittings throughout the day on Saturdays, Poya days and any public holiday so that you can enjoy one of the best high teas in Colombo at leisure.
Jointly owned by Huzam Ismail and Therika Miyanadeniya, Cafe Bellissimo is a quaint cafe complete with a white picketed fence and is a great spot for reasonably priced good food. We met with co-owner Huzam who shared with us that Cafe Bellissimo was born out of their joint love of food, and the need to find food that they loved that wouldn’t break the bank. A glaring necessity, because finding good food that’s cheap is hard to come by.
With Dolce Italia opening its doors in Colombo in January 2015, Sri Lankans were able to dig into freshly baked Italian pastries as well as pastas and pizzas. The restaurant moved from Havelock Road to Skelton Road a few weeks ago, and are now equipped with a mini supermarket where they sell Italian groceries and locally grown Italian tomatoes.
