This week, I went to visit a very talented person with style and class - Sammani. This small and petite beauty says “O:LIVE is a designer label that features high-end clothing and accessories for men and women who love what they choose to wear and care about how they present their image in public. It is a label that will confidently redefine masculinity and accentuate the feminine figure.”

Established a year ago, she has a huge following of some fashionistas who love the work she has brought forward. She says that during her time is Australia when she was studying fashion she found herself deeply interested in male fashion, especially when it came to the the finish and cut. I found it fascinating that a girl found male suits fancy to make it her main income! O:LIVE promise to give the best bespoke experience for men. Commissioning a bespoke suit is a luxury experience. Each suit is unique to the client, created over many hours of hard work. From the initial consultation stage through to completion, O:LIVE ensures that the process is enjoyable and insists upon delivering exceptional suits that fully satisfy the client’s expectations.

So on WTF, I asked her to give me a look that will show my personality and the sophistication that I will like to bring when I’m seen out. She took up the challenge, and gave me something that was fine! She had to get into heels to measure me up and then dress me too, but it was a finish I was left speechless with. Sammani Pathiranagama is one of the most promising ‘haute couture’ designers to come out of Melbourne in recent times. Sri Lankan born, Ms. Pathiranagama who is affectionately known among the fashion circles as ‘Sam’ is a graduate of the RMIT University holding a BA in Applied Science (Fashion Technology). She has been affiliated with the high end bridal wear and evening wear brands such as Bonita Haute Couture, Raffael Cuicca and Hannii. Her designs have also been worn by Charlie Cotton at the ‘Rosemount Sydney Fashion Week 2010’ as well as being featured on a TV series depicting the Australian fashion culture. Sam’s men's resortwear collection at Colombo Fashion Week 2013 was a huge success as it got lot of positive feedback from media and fashion lovers.

Sammani says, “I have lived by the rulebook of contemporary fashion and it would be a great honour to apply my passion, knowledge and skills to the industry of fashion through O:LIVE”. She will also be doing my wardrobe for the next year, and giving me some interesting looks to paint the town red, she is currently working on her show, where a lot of surprises await.
