Meet Joey!

Today we say hi to Joey, named after the adoring character from the TV show "Friends", played by Matt Le Blanc! Joey here is all the way from Australia and he is adored by friends and family for being such a cutie. Unlike other rabbits, Joey here isn't afraid of eating till his heart's content, and putting on. He also likes to eat and chill out a LOT, like most of us do!
Name : Joey
Breed : Holland Lop
Age: 1 year
Owner : Dee
What's the story behind the name you've given?
I thought of many different names but I am a huge fan of Friends the TV show and the fact that he used to gobble up so much of food since the day I brought him home made me think Joey was a suitable option for him.
What is his typical day like?
He will wake up in the morning and jump out the cage if it's open. If not he'll bite it until I open it. Then sleep here and there, go out to the backyard to chew on grass and run a little bit and then chill and eat and chill some more. He's very lazy. Extremely lazy!
What are meal times and bath time like?
He'll eat about 6-7 times a day depending on his mood, not specific times. When it comes to taking a bath he's terrified, but rabbits are self cleaning animals which makes it easier but I give him a bath every two weeks.
Does he do anything out of the ordinary which fascinates you?
Well he keeps himself busy by playing with random objects but not the toys that I bring for him to play with. His sleeping habits, places and mainly positions fascinate me.
What is his most favourite fun time activity?
He loves to hop out in the garden and he likes to chew on broken branches, and keeps himself very occupied and amused.
What is the naughtiest thing he has done?
He has chewed my phone chargers several times! I've replaced at least 10-15 phone cords since I've got him and many other electrical cords which is not at all fun! Keeping a vase full of flowers in my room is a no-no, because he tends to jump on it and eat it.
How did you find him?
I really wanted a pet for a while, since I've never owned one, given the conditions I'm not allowed to have pets in my house so I went looking for small pets that my landlord wouldn't notice and in an advertisement I saw him, sold by a guy who owns a farm. Love at first sight for sure!
How does he react when you return home?
Nothing really. Not immediately but after awhile when he realizes I'm there he will come and rub his head against my leg or lick me nonstop so I could pat him.
What's the best thing about him?
So many things!  He makes no noise which is disappointing, but his facial expressions, the way the breathing changes according to his emotions is so cool to watch and he is very affectionate. He always follows me around from one room to another, comes and falls asleep on my lap. Just random loving he shows me. And he gets along with my friends too.
What was the most unforgettable moment that you shared with him?
When I found out that he was a girl not a boy! It was awkward.
