Let me start by saying this ‘I’m not a food critic’, just someone who really, really loves dumplings. After years of spontaneous dumpling hunting, I’ve formed some strong, very personal opinions on where to find the best ones. Taste is subjective, of course. But if you’re craving delicious dumplings, maybe you can start with these. Here are my totally biased, completely unsponsored top five picks.

The Chinwag 
I’ve had most of their dumpling menu and I’m yet to be disappointed. You might end up ordering a lot more than you planned to simply because they are so darn delicious. 
If you decide to drop by Chinwag, you have to try the fried cheese and chili dumplings and their signature Turkish mutton dumplings. I have one word... amazing!

Holy Dumpling 
When I first tried Holy Dumpling's dumplings, my exact thought was "Holy moly, these dumplings are FIRE!" Obviously, they live up to their name. Their beef dumplings are my all-time favourite, they are so juicy and packed with flavour. But their chicken dumplings and prawn & egg dumplings are really good too. 
I absolutely LOVE this place, not just the food, but the service and atmosphere as well. 

Momo’s by Ruvi 
Momo’s by Ruvi has my all-time favorite dumpling, the one I crave on a random Friday evening. Their Chilli Beef Momos. It’s so spicy, so delicious, and that sauce… to die for.
To be honest, I don’t even remember the other dumplings I’ve tried from Momo’s by Ruvi because, as long as I can remember, I’ve only ordered the chilli momos. That said, they do have a whole variety of dumplings and I’m sure they’re just as good as my beloved spicy favourite.

DDD Char Siu 
Oh, what can I say? David’s Dangerously Delicious Char Siu is dangerously delicious indeed. If you're a pork lover, don't walk, run to this place. While I don't come here just for dumplings because their Char Siu Pork Noodles and Roast Pork with crackling are my true obsessions, their pork dumplings absolutely deserve a spot on this list too.
The real game-changer is their sauce. DDD's hot kochchi drizzle takes everything to the next level. It's perfect with their pork dumplings. Sweet, spicy, and addictive. 

We Ai Family 
There are fancy dumpling spots, and then there’s WE AI FAMILY, the kind of place you go when you want the real deal, the authentic Chinese dumpling experience. Honestly, their whole dumpling menu is fire, with a solid variety. Get steamed dumplings for that classic vibe, or fried if you want crunch. Portions are generous too, definitely enough to share
