It was indeed a tremendous success on June 18, with four musicians known internationally; Rohan De Silva, Sujeeva Hapugalle, Ramya De Livera Perera and Soundarie David Rodrigo who played desired classics to pay tribute to their beloved music teacher no other than Mary Billimoria, respecting her for all her hard work and for being the pillar behind their triumph stories. Alongside collaborating with a few of the musicians from the Chamber Music Society of Colombo, to bring to the audience a unique experience!

The evening started off with and carried on all time favourite classical pieces, from; Ludwig van Beethoven, Antonin Dvorak, Frederic Chopin to name a few. Although I must admit, this show was definitely for all the music fans, who take time to appreciate their passion in instruments and the music of course! A disappointment for all those who missed the opportunity to witness such incredible talent at the Lionel Wendt.

Not to mention the organizers of this wonderful concert who made it possible - the Sunera Foundation, who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for those who are faced with disability in Sri Lanka, offering the finest of facilities and accepting the 1.4 million of those living with some form of disability into society.
