Salome Bites Cheesy Spinach Crackers

An easy peasy way to get the kids to eat spinach and actually enjoy it! This is an amazing vegetarian dip and can also be eaten with nachos or pita bread! 

You will need: 

Spinach leaves 
Cream cheese 
Savoury or plain crackers 
Olive oil or butter 
Salt and pepper 

Method 

Wash and pick out only the leaves and in a pan add the oil, salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes until the leaves have wilted and are soft. You may chop the leaves before cooking them as well. 

Take off the heat and drain the excess water. This is very important so leave the water to drain for at least 10 minutes. 

Mix the spinach with the cream cheese and spoon onto the crackers! Serve!
