She's one of those super inquisitive yet caring dogs who don't like to miss family time or family vacation. Lindy is also very smart when she wants to feel included, and acts as if she's a left out member of the family when she wants attention. She loves commanding the household fish battalion every morning and hates if she's the one who has to do the swimming.

What's the story behind the name you've given?
My mother decided on the name Lindy. She is very good at that sort of thing.
What is a typical day like for her?
She wakes up with me around 7am and goes outside. She goes to the kitchen and does her daily inspections on what happened the night before. After I leave for work, she stays with my Dad in his room. She has the important job of making sure the fish behave properly so she barks at them from time to time. Other than that she mostly sleeps during the day.
What are mealtimes and bathtimes like?
She gets three meals a day when we have our meals. I think her favourite is her pre-breakfast milk which she has around 8. She gets a bath once a week on a Sunday because she hates taking baths. Me and my mom have to scheme in order to catch for a bath.
Does she do anything out of the ordinary which fascinates you?
She is very skilled at opening drawers and doors. She sometimes holds a drawer by the handle and just pulls it out with her paw. She also knocks on doors if she feels like she is left outside and she needs to be included.
What is her most favourite fun time activity?
She absolutely loves going in cars. She used to drop me and my sister in school every morning and take us for classes on the weekends.
What is the naughtiest thing she has done?
She gets very annoyed when the whole family goes out leaving her alone at home so she pulls out garbage bins and lines all the garbage on the floor or she would sleep on someone’s bed and disarrange it so that we knew that she was mad and she was on the bed.
How did you find her?
She and 3 other puppies were left near a canal behind our house. One morning I heard all of them barking so I begged my mom to bring them home.
How does she react when you return home?
She always stays at the top of the stairs and waits for me to come up. When I am on my way up, she runs up to the railing to greet me there with her tail wagging in full force.
What's the best thing about her?
She is a very caring dog. She knows whenever I am sick or sad. She comes and sits next to me just comfort me. Wherever I go in to the house, she just follows me around constantly sticking her neck out from some corner to check on me and to see if I am okay.
What was the most unforgettable moment that you shared with her?
There are so many but my favourite was when I first moved abroad to do my higher studies, my father was talking to me on Skype in the middle of the night and Lindy was sleeping in a corner of his room. My father put me on speaker and the second she heard my voice, she woke up and started running around the room looking for me.
