What is your favourite cuisine?
My favourite cuisine is Thai and I enjoy the harmonious blend of flavour unique compared to other cuisines.
Name one item of comfort food you simply cannot do without.
My grandmother's special date chutney.
The healthiest food you usually serve at home?
A mallung, vegetable salad for lunch and dinner, and kola kanda during the weekend is a must at home.
Name two of your absolute favourite restaurants in Sri Lanka, and why they're your favourite.
Well, The Barnesbury and the Royal Thai at Cinnamon Lakeside are two of my absolute favourites. These two have become my favourites due to the quality of the food, customer service and mainly due to its ambiance.
What item of food do you flatly refuse to keep in your fridge?
Ketchup.
What is the most unusual food you've eaten? Would you eat it again?
Sushi. I had to try it once when I went out with my friends and it was the worst experience. I did not like the experience, presentation of the food nor its taste. Well it was mostly my mind that refused the food. I would never try it out ever.
Name an ingredient in your kitchen that you simply cannot do without.
Hershey's cocoa powder.
What would you say is your favourite dessert?
Well, it's very hard to be specific as I consider desserts as my main meal. However, my absolute favourites are chocolate mousse, blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu.
