Carmen Electra's ex-husband approves of her romance with Simon Cowell.
Dave Navarro - who split from the former 'Baywatch' star in July 2006 - thinks Simon is much better for her than her former fiance Rob Patterson and wishes them every happiness if they end up in a serious relationship.
The 45-year-old Jane's Addiction guitarist is quoted by Us Weekly magazine as saying: "Simon seems to be a great match for her. Normally I'd say how great it is to see her with a guy who has his s**t together for a change but I'm not going to do that."
Carmen, 40, called off her four-year engagement to rock guitarist Rob in May.
As well as her marriage to Dave, the busty brunette was also briefly married to retired basketball player Dennis Rodman.
Carmen was first romantically linked with Simon, 52, in September and though she claimed to be "single" and just "friends" with 'The X Factor' judge, she suggested this week their friendship went further.
When asked if they had kissed, she giggled and said: "Maybe."
Further pressed on the matter by 'Access Hollywood', she was then asked if there had been any "horizontal time".
Carmen again laughed and said "maybe".
She added: "He's so cute. He's adorable, he's actually a sweetheart. I really like him, I think he's very cool."
The 40-year-old brunette beauty first met Simon when she was a guest judge on his UK show 'Britain's Got Talent'.
