BEFORE FAME

His mother's obstetricians used forceps during his birth, which paralyzed the left half of his face and gave him his trademark facial expression. He sold his first script, Paradise Alley, for $100 to help correct his bankrupt bank account.

TRIVIA

Outside the famous Philadelphia Museum of Art are the Rocky Steps, named after the movie Rocky, which Stallone ran up and down during his training scenes.
