Jeffrey Dean Morgan is an American actor, best known for his television and movie roles in Grey’s Anatomy, Supernatural and the superhero film, The Watchmen.

Dean began his career in the 1991 movie Uncaged, most of Morgan's work has been in television. He was the star of the 1996–1997 television series The Burning Zone and since 2000; he has amassed a number of credits in television series such as ER, JAG, Texas Ranger, The O.C, Monk and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
