Channing Matthew Tatum is an American actor, film producer, dancer, and former model. He started his career in the modeling world, signing contracts with several big design houses before making the shift into Hollywood. Channing made his film debut in the sports drama Coach Carter and had a supporting role in She’s the Man before landing the leading role in Step Up.

He has since appeared in a variety of dramatic and comedic roles in films such as Public Enemies, G.I.Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Dear John, The Vow and more recently the revamped version of 21 Jump Street.
