Meet The Brothers On Bikes

“Brothers on Bikes” is a Sri Lankan community of motor biking enthusiasts, majorly comprised of accomplished professionals who are also seasoned riders. Brothers on Bikes (fondly known as BOBs) believe that motor biking is an art one should follow with respect and discipline. This year they’re testing new waters away from the boundaries of Sri Lanka. This August, twelve of the most experienced riders attempted to ride their Royal Enfield motorcycles to the highest road in the world (more than 18,000 feet) located in the Himalayan mountain range. This attempt was the first of its kind by Sri Lankans and was nothing short of an exhilarating adventure. The images, videos and the write-ups from the misty mountains above the clouds will tell the adventure of these 12 men on Royal Enfields.

Meet the riders below:

Ranga Gunawardane is a Strategic Account Manager at Millennium IT. He rides a Royal Enfield - Classic 350 cc (The Green Thing) / Triumph 3TA and his nickname is Bath Tub. His role in the team is the Leader, organizer and map holder.

Sanjeevi Gayathry's occupation lies in Business. He rides a Royal Enfield - Electra 350 and Red Tub is his nickname. His role in the team is to be in charge of food and water.

Jeremy Stork is a Business Development Manager. He rides a Royal Enfield -Classic 350 cc / Suzuki DR650SE. His role in the team is lead rider, organizer and map reader.

Nasser Hussain's work lies in real estate and gem and jewellery. He rides a Royal Enfield -Classic 350 cc and his nickname is Green Machine. His role in the team is a rider.

Dr. Kanna is a dentist by profession. He rides a Royal Enfield 350 cc. His role in the team is a tail rider, and to provide first aid or medical support if the need arises.

Capt. Asitha Liyanage is security consultant, a National Champion in Shooting and a pre Olympian. He rides a Royal Enfield 350 classic (Marcho.) /Honda XR 600 and his nickname is Breaker. His role in the team is a lead and tail rider.

Raj Mohan is the General Manager at Otley Traders. He rides a Royal Enfield - Classic 350 cc. His role in the team is the co-leader and spot runner.
