Yes it is the summer holidays in a majority of households around the island. What better to celebrate than digging into some homemade ice cream. Yes, you did hear me right! Homemade and delicious, and surprising none of the churning and other malarkey that goes into making ice cream is necessary. If you're like me, who would do the least amount of work in preparing the food but the maximum amount in eating it, then this is the perfect recipe, mark it, cut it out, paste it on the fridge, whatever you decide to do, you've definitely got a new family favourite guaranteed!

Ingredients

1½ cups whipping cream
1 can sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup caramel sauce (optional)
¼ cup chocolate sauce
¼ cup roasted cashew nuts
¼ cup chopped Mars bars

Directions

In a large bowl, whip cream until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold in sweetened condensed milk.

Pour half into a 1.5-2 quart dish, swirl with half of the caramel, chocolate sauce, cashew nuts and chopped Mars bars.

Repeat layers one more time using remaining ingredients.

Freeze for at least 6-8 hours or until firm.
