Meet this adorable retriever, Buddy who has lived up to the name he's been given and enjoys travelling more than anything else. He loves to hop on any ride that may come his way and just like his owner he is a vehicle enthusiast.  He is also the perfect companion to have during a study session and Buddy will keep you company and get you through tough and miserable days. In other words he'll be your happy pill.

What's the story behind the name you've given? 

All our previous dogs  were named Jimmy and the last Jimmy we had was missed so badly where we wanted a friend and that's where we got Buddy, and he has never failed to be my buddy. 

What are meal times and bath times like? 

He is fed 3 times a day and whenever we eat he also eats with us. He has a bath every Sunday afternoon. 

 

Does he do anything out of the ordinary which fascinates you? 

His adorable face fascinates me a lot, and just one look at his face is enough for you to feel loved. 

What is his most favourite fun time activity? 

His favourite fun time activity is going for a ride in my jeep or a walk around the neighbourhood. 

 

What is the naughtiest thing he has done? 

Whenever my friends come over he would just get into their vehicles and stay inside until we go on a ride. 

How did you find him? 

It was via a newspaper advertisement and I managed to spot Buddy easily out of the litter as he fit the criteria I had in mind perfectly. 

How does he react when you return home? 

I usually toot my horn at this bend before turning to my road, and he never fails to identify the right horn and just runs to the gate from wherever he may be at. 

What's the best thing about him? 

His name says it all. The best thing about him is that he never fails to make us happy; may it be a bad day or a stressful day studying or working on my laptop he would just stay beside me and cheer me up instantaneously. 

What was the most unforgettable moment that you shared with him? 

How could I forget this? Once a tuk tuk was parked outside the house and Buddy had refused to get out of it until he was taken a ride around the neighbourhood. I was so tense; I thought I had lost him until he returned home.
