Square Mobile is a newly established Company which is in the process of expanding with novel ideas and products together with its members who work with dedication. We are mainly focusing on providing mobile application and value added service for local and International Industry.

We started our journey on the 30th of June 2011 with five undergraduate developers and the very first products were, "The Word Puzzle" for Etisalat AppZone. Within a very short time period we have gained lots of achievements in local and International levels. We were the finalist in " M-Billionth-South Asian Mobile App Competition" held in New Delhi, India.

We have planned to celebrate our very first anniversary on 30th June 2012. With regards to the above purpose, we are organizing the biggest Rock Concert in Kandy. Our main perspective is to spread the name of our brand and promote Sri Lankan Rock Music all over the country, especially in KANDY.

Band description

Roadkill

Roadkill was formed in early 2011 by a group of friends who were deeply influenced by the unique genre of heavy metal. In the same year the band was formed,Roadkill took part in TNL Onstage and emerged as winners.

The band's style involves influences from Heavy/Progressive/Power Thrash/Groove Metal to blues and classical elements. Individually the band members have different likes and inspirations and that plays a major role when creating their own music.

Ethereal

Ethereal was formed in early 2008 and it all started in the classroom by bunch of friends who were always getting Punished singing n slamming the desks when the teachers are not around!! The dream of making a Band was the ambition of all five of them n Raised Ethereal and Kicked off the Debut Performance in TNL Onstage n made it to the finals.

The band is a Hybrid of Hardcore and Metal core music styles and influenced by bands like, Avenged Sevenfold , Five Finger Death Punch , Bullet for my Valentine, Mudvayne , Arch enemy. Ethereal is More into Originality and the songs expresses of the darker side of life.

Crywolf

CryWolf is a Sri Lankan Heavy Metal band that was formed towards the end of 2009 and has gained rapid popularity in the Sri Lankan Metal Industry.
The band recently ended up the Runners up of TNL onstage 2011 (A competition for Rock bands in Sri Lanka) and released their debut single "The Wind" following their accomplishment.

Shehara

Shehara is one of Sri Lanka's most sought after & raved about new artist, with a style & sound that's both authentic & original that she can call her own. She was a finalist at last year's TNL Onstage & is the Country's first female Rock 'n' Roll/ Metal Soloist looking forward to bringing her provocative sound to help celebrate the first anniversary of Square Mobile in Kandy. Accompanied by respected & renouned musicians in the scene, Shehara will perform a stunning set with music off her upcoming debut album.

Sqaure Wave takes place on the 07th of July 2012 at Queens Hotel, Kandy from 5.30pm - 10.00pm Event is organized by Square Mobile along with ETHEREAL and ROADKILL.
