In only twenty minutes from Colombo, you can get to a blissful location to enjoy a relaxed few days in Talahena. Tranquil Waters, a gem of a property is a perfect hideaway from the hustle and bustle of Colombo. The resident cook prepares the most delicious meals, ranging from local fare to many international specialities. The daily catch brought in by the local fishers means that you savour the freshest of seafood, be it crabs or prawns or the freshest fish prepared to your liking.  The Sri Lankan menus at Tranquil Waters are delicious authentic recipes cooked to perfection. There is also a range of continental cuisine available on the menu.  All meals require to be pre-ordered to enjoy their finest fresh ingredients and cooking. The lagoon crab curry menu is exceptional and a must for all crab lovers.

Opposite the villa is the Negombo lagoon where the water is tranquil most of the year and lends the name to the Villa.  A relaxed boat ride to enjoy the lagoon and the fauna and flora in and around it is also available.

Tranquil Waters offers day outings for limited numbers where special menus are curated for the guests. This too has to be pre-booked and is based on availability and only if there are no guests residing in the Villa. Tranquil Water is only twenty minutes from Katunayake international airport.  It is a few minutes away from Negombo town, should you wish to experience the nightclub and bar scene of its famous strip.
