In celebration of its 45th anniversary, NKAR is proud to present Vibes of Yesterday, a one-of-a-kind musical concert that blends timeless classics with heartfelt purpose. Set to take place on 30th August 2025 at the BMICH Main Hall at 6.30 PM, the event promises an unforgettable evening of music from the golden eras of the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

This special concert is more than just a trip down memory lane. It’s also a charitable initiative, with proceeds going towards Apeksha Hospital in Maharagama, reflecting NKAR’s commitment to meaningful causes.

The musical lineup features some of the most iconic names in Sri Lanka’s entertainment scene:

• Noeline Honter, known for lighting up the stage at the famed Little Hut
• Rukshan Perera, a multitalented artist who performed alongside legends like Clarence Wijewardena and Annesley Malewana
• Marizele Gunatilake, beloved for her storytelling flair and the hit “Kandy Lamissi”
• Keerthi Pasqual, a mainstay in Sinhala classical and western music for over three decades

Bringing it all together is the dynamic and versatile band Expressions, renowned for their vibrant performances and dancefloor-ready energy.
