Big Blast Events and EarGear Productions are thrilled to announce that reggae legend Alpha Blondy has arrived in Sri Lanka today, July 16, 2025, ahead of his groundbreaking inaugural performance in the country. This marks a pivotal moment as the Ivorian reggae icon prepares to make history with his first-ever live concert in Sri Lanka. The highly anticipated concert will take place on July 19, 2025, at the Air Force Ground Colombo, starting at 6 PM.

Known for his electrifying performances and global message of unity and peace, Alpha Blondy is one of the most influential reggae artists of our time. Hailing from Côte d'Ivoire, Blondy has captivated audiences across continents with powerful anthems such as Jerusalem, Cocody Rock, and Brigadier Sabari. He will be accompanied by his iconic band, Solar System, bringing with them decades of musical excellence and an unforgettable live energy.

This concert marks a crucial cultural milestone in Sri Lanka, as it is the first large-scale reggae concert of its kind ever held in the country.
