The sound of the Koha, the patter of little bunny feet, the beat of the Rabana ; all herald the onset  of some of the best loved festivities and celebrations in Sri Lanka – we’re talking of Avurudhu and Easter of course! And what better way to celebrate than at Paw-Sperity, yet another shopper’s  Xtravaganza which returns on 29th March to the Atrium Lobby of the Cinnamon Grand,  with over 60 stalls that will cater to everyone’s Avurudhu and Easter shopping requirements.

Presented by the Best Address in Town, the Cinnamon Grand; Paw-Sperity which is being held in aid of Rescue Animals Sri Lanka [ RAS ], in partnership with Wijeya Newspapers, Gravitas Integrated, Zelus Consult, Proimage and other partners, has all the trappings of making it the Bazaar of the Season !! And it wont be just a Bazaar, but  an EVENT, complete with a Kiddies Corner by the ABC School, a welcome by the Easter Bunny and Village Headman, Rabban players, Kavum Ammes, Easter Egg Hunt , selection of the Avurudhu  Kumaraya and Kumariya, selection of the Best Dressed Pet, Calypso band and of course 60 + stalls selling premium products.

With something for everyone, and goods ranging from clothing for the entire family, bed and table linen,  footwear, kids games, cosmetics, both Batik as well as regular saris, jewellery, skin care,  handmade Designer handbags, accessories, homemade wines, chutneys and pickles, organic foods,  cushions, arts & crafts, stationery and greeting cards, crochet and knitted products, scented candles, perfumes, health  & gluten free foods , Vegan foods , bath and body care, a range of specialty Avurudhu Rasa Kavili and Easter Goodies from the Cinnamon Grand,  household items,  and much more , Paw-sperity has just about everything you need to get you into the celebratory spirit.

Co founder RAS Anusha David, who has been an animal welfare activist since the age of eight, following in her father’s footsteps, laments the fact that to date the Animal Welfare Bill has not been passed in Sri Lanka. “ Soon it will be three decades since we have been trying to get this through. The humane treatment of animals and their acceptance by society and the acknowledgement of their rightful place in our world and our need to coexist is a huge void in Sri Lanka’s DNA”.

Join us for a heartwarming and festive experience at the  Paw-sperity  Xtravaganza where holiday cheer meets a cause close to our hearts—Animal Welfare.
