Get ready for one of the most exciting weekends of the season as IN GOOD TASTE 2026, an exclusive two-day lifestyle festival celebrating food, creativity, culture and community, takes over The Shoppes at City of Dreams on 7 and 8 November 2026.

Designed as a destination event for families, food lovers, lifestyle enthusiasts and the wider Colombo community, the festival will bring together some of Sri Lanka’s most exciting culinary, artistic and creative talent under one roof.

Held across Levels 7, 8 and 9 of The Shoppes at City of Dreams, the festival will run from 10.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. on both days, offering an exciting mix of food, fashion, art, music, dance, shopping and entertainment. Entry to the festival is free.

Visitors can look forward to a wide variety of stalls offering ready-to-eat food and desserts, fashion, jewellery, health foods, arts and crafts, cosmetics, gifts and décor, homeware, Christmas treats, pet products, children’s games and toys, body and bath products and much more – making it an ideal destination for seasonal shopping.

A major highlight of IN GOOD TASTE 2026 will be its exciting line-up of competitions, all open to amateur participants.

IN GOOD FLAVOUR
An islandwide culinary competition featuring the Signature Dish and Dress the Cake competitions, judged by leading names in the culinary industry, including Celebrity Chef Koluu, Dharshan Munidasa, Anish Padgaonkar – Executive Chef, Cinnamon Life, Kapila Jayasinghe – Executive Chef, Cinnamon Grand, Hafsa Husain – Founder, Cake Factory, and Maya Rajapakse – Queen of Cakes.

IN GOOD COLOUR
An islandwide art competition organised by Visual Voices, judged by prominent figures from Sri Lanka’s art world, including Iromie Wijewardene, Suresh Dominic, Malaka Talwatte, Professor Jagath Weerasinghe and Raja Segar.

IN GOOD VOICE
A lively Pop-Up Choir and Open Mic experience led by Soundarie David Rodrigo and the Soul Sounds Academy Poppers, promising music, energy and plenty of audience participation.

IN GOOD STRIDE
An islandwide Model Hunt, organised by BK Academy, giving young aspiring models the opportunity to compete for the chance to become Sri Lanka’s next iconic face. The competition will be judged by International Designer and Judge Kamil Hewavitharana, Top Model of the World 2025 & 2026, and Manhunt International 2025 1st Runner-Up Piyumal Sithum Pattuwearachchi, with hair and makeup by Romesh Atapattu of Capello Salons.

IN GOOD SPIRITS – THE ROAR CHALLENGE
Aspiring mixologists will showcase their creativity and skills in this exciting cocktail competition, presented with the support of Luxury Brands and Lion Brewery. The competition will be judged by Wellington Muromba – Sommelier, Cinnamon Life; Vronsky Arendtsz – Artisan Beverage Strategist, Wines & Spirits, Luxury Brands; Nadishka Dayawansa – Co-Founder, Kampong; and SERVD’s Navindi Jayasooriya and Kemashi Wickramasinghe.

IN GOOD MOVES
A lively dance competition presented by BK Academy, judged by Natasha Jayasuriya of the Deanna School of Dancing and Muddrika Swarnathilake, Director of Choreography and Founder of Muddrika Dance Studio.

IN GOOD LOOKS
In partnership with REVLON, this makeup competition will give aspiring young makeup artists the opportunity to showcase their creativity by creating a look on a model of their choice using Revlon products. The competition will be judged by industry specialists Ramanie Fernando, Jacqui Mei and Viran Perera.
