Braving the elements with the threat of torrential downpours looming, Olu Swim Week 2021 concluded on a happy note with 8 designers showcasing their resortwear collections over two days at the chosen venues of the Shangri-La Colombo and Port City. Day two was held at the Port City in a desert like landscape with Sail Lanka yachts and catamarans in the marina adding to the stunning backdrop of sky scrapers. Despite this, it appeared that the strong cross winds made it difficult for the models to sashay down the runway with the winds causing the dresses to billow rather than drape gracefully. With the weather Gods in full cooperation, the show went ahead with many of Colombo's fashion pack completely
bowled over by the iconic backdrop.
Day two kicked off with Fouzul Hameed of Hameedia, Indi YapaAbeywaydene, Divya Jayawickrame and Darshi Keerthisena showcasing their collections.
