Barely weeks following the previous “Youtube Generation” article one of the featured artists, Karmin has placed herself in the American Top 40 with a single titled “Broken Hearted” (Told you so!).
The real life couple and on record duo, Karmin are well on their way to Hollywood fame contrary to humble beginnings covering other artists.
This article deals with a new bunch of artists who also are immensely talented and will eventually find themselves gracing the top charts. I hope.
Cimoreli
Cimoreli, a 6 piece all female singing group, is what should be referred to as an acquired taste. Their viewers are rather evenly divided into viewers who adore them and viewers who want their home address to route a nuclear missile.
The reason in my humblest of opinions is their very queer appearance. If you were to listen to them minus their quirky visuals, it really isn’t hard to love them, but the visuals really are something else.
The highly energized and whacky performances understandably don’t sit well with many, but the girls are talented beyond a shadow of a doubt, showcasing impressive vocal ranges and harmonies.
The sisters from a family of 11 are currently based in California pursuing their musical career or lack of it (Ouch), just in case you need to route that nuclear missile.

Tiffany Alvord
Eye candy is the secret ingredient working in favour of this 19 year old singer/song writer. 830,000 subscribers is testament enough for my outrageous claim. For being a blue eyed (Green?) chestnut haired beauty, she really doesn’t get enough credit for her musical talent.
Admittedly she pitches certain notes no one wants to hear but then it’s her rather difficult choice of songs that’s to blame. On the flip side, the girl is a born performer and a personal favourite.
Her cover of Gym class heroes’ “Back Home” is evidence of this. She also seems to have access to a rather sophisticated video producer adding to her abundant charms.

Jason Chen
Jason is a Canadian artist who is originally from Hong Kong. His vocal range though limited, serves to do justice to his covers.
Singing under what appears to be his own music label called “Music never sleeps” Jason has done quite a few good pieces and has a humorous edge in his performances. Anyone with a lighthearted taste in music should be an instant fan.

The Piano Guys
A slightly different entry, Piano guys are an instrumental band that covers rich musical pieces with a touch of their own unique flavor.
The Cello does wonders in bringing out hidden nuances of the music we pay little attention to when accompanied by vocals. Instrumental might not be everyone’s cup of tea, certainly wasn’t mine till I was introduced to the Piano guys.
Having listened to their rendition of Christina Perri’s “Thousand Years” I seem to have changed my mind about instrumental bands.

Christina Grimmie
This rather strange teen is the next Amy Winehouse. Okay maybe not but she sure has some similarities starting from her very Winehouse like hairdo, and ending at her vocal capacity which given her very basic setup, is nothing short of a miracle.
This girl is packing some serious powerhouse vocal skills and isn’t too shy showing it off. She makes a delightful connection with her audience in her little chat up leading to her covers. In addition to her music she also does some interesting talk clips.
