Success at Singapore International Dancesport Championship

Tuan Farzan, student of Rhythm World Dance Studio who represented Sri Lanka became the “Champion” of the ‘Show Dance’ category at the 25th Singapore International Dancesport Championship organized by veteran dance teachers Sunny Low & Aleena Tan for the 25th consecutive year.

Tuan Farzan performed an act wherein he danced as lady & gent with half of his body moving to the rhythm of a female dancer and the other half moving to the rhythm of a male dancer. This amazing act enthralled all present and the Judgement was unanimous in his favour.
Also at this championship was talented Sri Lankan dancer Noary Samarasinghe, now dancing and training under the Asian Dance Trainer – Uapan Snidvongs from Thailand. Noary together with her Italian partner Tony Lufrano were Champions of the ‘Amateur Rising Star’ and ‘5th Runner-up of the Amateur Open’ categories. Deshan Kulathunga of Buddima Studio was appointed as an Official photographer for this prestigious event.
