Music is the universal language that brings people together. Six revolutionary Rock n Roll artistes from Colombo are on a mission to prove just that. Today (20th of October 2012) at The New Town Hall Theater, Tantrum, Fallen Grace, Roadkill, Killfeed, Triton & Disclaimer will jointly present Everything Louder than Everyone Else – Headbanging for a Cause, a show organized in aid of the Unity Mission Trust to support the less privileged children in the country.
When asked about their comeback to support this cause, Sohan Ratnaike the front man of the Melodic Death metal giants - Fallen Grace added that they thought it would take longer for them to see the light of stage again. After a lapse of almost one year as their last gig being The Carnage Fest in Singapore, they’re up and running for this Saturday knowing that the proceeds from the event aren’t going to some brain dead organizer. With Tony from Mass Damnation joining their ranks as a guest artiste we could definitely expect some deep music from these guys.

‘Tantrum’ the TNL Onstage winners from the year 2006 are back on stage. It is indeed a celebration to all the “Trantrumentors” who are eagerly waiting to see the progressive thrash and technical death metal architects in action. Their album The Rebellion has become a revolutionary milepost in the Sri Lankan rock industry. The last time these guys were on stage it was pure chaos playing 11 tracks back to back for a packed out British School auditorium.
The youngest band out of the lot, ‘Roadkill’ who started off in 2011, ended up bagging the award for the Best Band & The best original song at TNL onstage 2011. During this brief period Roadkill has become one of the best and unique upcoming bands in the heavy metal industry in Sri Lanka, focusing on heavy/grove & thrash metal as their genre. “You can’t kill Rock n Roll, and unlike dinosaurs we rockers refuse to be extinct. We want to do some good to the society through our music,” says lead guitarist of Roadkill Manujith Liyanarachchi.
The other three bands in today’s lineup is Triton ( Finalists of TNL Onstage 2009) , Killfeed and Disclaimer (Finalists of TNL Onstage 2012) who are known as talented upcoming bands who will definitely be contributing to Sri Lankan heavy metal in the years to come.
So this killer lineup will join hands for a cause today to make Everything Louder than Everyone Else.
Tickets are priced 400/= which can be purchased at the gates.
