This week I was tagged by the all-new city hotel experience - Hotel Maradha. This crisp new building is conveniently situated hotel on Marine Drive overlooking the blue ocean. The hotel opened its doors this April. It features a restaurant, rooftop bar, spa, infinity pool, and fitness center.
The accommodation is clean and full of light, The hotel has 39 guest rooms. Types include Premium Hotel Rooms with double beds to king-size beds, Suites consisting of one or two rooms, and Apartments with fully equipped kitchens. It’s a perfect Insta story every single time. Rooms facing the ocean offer a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean, while other rooms offer views of Colombo City and the port city. the rooms are spacious with a warm color pallet which is soothing to the eyes. Every room comes with wall paintings that take you to a Lankan garden - the painting do add so much to the room.
The restaurant Royal Code, serves traditional Ceylon cuisine prepared without artificial flavoring or preservatives. using all Sri Lankan ingredients helping Sri Lankan farmers and communities
Making up the menu was quite an interesting journey says the team working at the hotel even the honey they serve you it’s coming from a jungle every single item that you see on the plate is fresh and the produce I brought from different parts of Sri Lanka
Apart from the food looking fancy they also believe in serving Healthy food, if you’re someone who is just looking out for a fat hamburger or a very oily greasy pasta dish you’re not going to get it they’re going to serve you something delicious and full of flavors but on the lines of health and Local
The rooftop bar is inspired by the Sri Lankan mosque industry Sky Yard on the top floor features 25 signature cocktails, mocktails, and a la carte dishes, cocktails are delicious and very interesting, don’t believe me just check in, the Narang juice given as the welcome drink will win your heart
