It offers many moods to select from such as their iconic courtyard and dining area with high backed chairs and button down couches. Providing for a capacity of 150 guests, Barnesbury can host exclusive gatherings such as corporate events, private elite functions etc.

Situated in the heart of Colombo, this new wonderland houses a coffee shop, lounge, and a fine dining courtyard. They’ve got a car park which can easily accommodate 25 cars.

The Barnesbury starts off with its coffee shop and extends its menu to a fusion of dishes to suit everyone’s palette; from steaks off the grill to Italian pastas and Asian inspired dishes varying from Thai to Chinese to the good old kotthu (with a Barnesbury twist of course).

The coffee-holics will certainly have a good treat with their creatively decorated coffee area and their signature coffee like the dark chocolate forest and Cappuccino float.

Mar 14, 2013 12:00 amVisited barnesbury last week and it was an utter disappointment! it was three of us and my order was completely missed, followed by them also forgetting to bring me water when requested and the also forgot a fork when i finally decided to share my friends food!
ReplyIt is clearly heavy in service and attention to one ethnic group which is very disappointing to see given that we had very high expectations when we decided to drop in.

Mar 18, 2013 12:00 amwent to barnesbury last week.its an awsome place and has a very friendly atmosphere.they are really worth d price and the food is incredible! Its one of the largest coffee shop in colombo i geuss and the inside of it is soo cozy,u feel like spending hours! really loved d decors and the staff is very friendly..well in my case i didnt have any food delays..everything was perfect!and recommend this place highly

Mar 18, 2013 12:00 amHey Shivanthi, if its cold, don't forget to take your jackets. I went there n it was really great. N may be u requested water glass instead of water bottles. It happened in bread talk when I requested water n I was asked to buy a bottle, fair enough it's business. U can't except FOC where we go. N I usually share after ordering mine. its not nice to share 1 food by 3 people. If u had ordered, u would have got ur set of spoons n then u can share. Be greatfull to people who serve quality food. I e
