You may have been happily married for a while now and you wish to hear a baby cackle in your love nest. Is it taking too long or forever? A range of causes such ovulation problems, uterine and cervical abnormalities, blockage of fallopian tubes and sperm abnormalities could lead to infertility.
Nawaloka Fertility Centre is here to help you.

Pregnancy is a wonderful miracle. Yet among the married people around the world, one in six faces problems in having a child. Subfertility could be the result of ovulation disorders, disorders in sperm, obstruction of the fallopian tubes or due to other reasons.
For over ten years, Nawaloka Fertility Centre has been committed to provide services for couples who have not been able to have a baby.
Those women who do not produce eggs from their ovaries are treated with simple tablets or FSH injections to release eggs. Couples with normal fallopian tubes and minor problems in sperm can be treated by IUI in which prepared sperm is inseminated into the uterine cavity. Usually medications are used to improve the maturation and release of the ovum during IUI.
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is the best treatment for women with damaged tubes and for men with low sperm count, motility and poor sperm shape. During IVF, sperm and eggs from the couple are mixed outside the body in the laboratory, implanting the resultant embryos back into the womb. It is commonly referred to as ‘Test Tube Baby’. The method of inserting a single sperm into a single egg during IVF is known as Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI).
Of special importance is the InviCell incubator for the successful use of IVF and ICSI which is available only at the Nawaloka Fertility Centre.
International studies have confirmed that babies conceived with the aid of IVF or ICSI are equally healthy as babies conceived naturally.
It is not required for the woman to be admitted to hospital, or to take bed rest or to stay away from work during IVF.
All that is required is to make about 6 visits to the hospital over a period of about five to six weeks.
The required injections can be taken by the woman herself or at a nearby clinic.
In addition to the services for subfertility, Nawaloka Fertility Centre is the only institute in the country providing advanced facilities for investigation and treatment of women suffering from repeated failed pregnancies and abortions. This includes immunological tests and therapy where the immune system in the woman’s body repeatedly rejects healthy pregnancies. With appropriate treatment, such women can make their dreams come true.
