Sri Lankan cricketing legend Sanath Jayasuriya's time on 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa', India’s version of Dancing with the Stars, has come to an end as he was voted out of the show.
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has become a hit sensation in India and is currently in its fifth season.
Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D'Souza from Dance India Dance are the judges of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5.
In his parting words from the show, on stage, Sanath thanked his dance partner very specially for “working really hard” with him.
He also thanked “all of the Indian people for being really supportive” of him, not only in the reality show but in his cricketing career as well.
“I want to thank everybody. Thanks for the judges for being very helpful. And I want to wish everyone good luck and I hope the best person will win this tournament,” said Sanath before exiting the stage.
