Indu Dharmasena's riotous comedy "Merry Wives of Colombo" went on boards the Lionel Wendt last weekend (March 31, April 1).

The plot of the play revolves around how a group of ladies decide to expose the antics of a womanizing politician to the media and their circle of friends.

Except for one point when an actor sang "Rolling in the Deep" which was not that great of a performance, the play was amazing.

Indu as always was amazing on stage, along with Koluu, Sanjana, Sanwada, Trinushka, Niroshi, Abbas, Gehan, Stefan and Anoop.

After all, when you go for one of Indu's shows you know you are in for a seriously good treat!

It was an exceptionally poor show. The first half was passable but the second half was a disaster. It is definitely proof that Indu is running dry on ideas and talent. I thought the evening was a rip off !!
