Comments from the contestants
Mansi Grewan- 21, Chandigarh
The experience has been incredible, I consider myself really blessed to be here. The tour has been exhausting but fun. I love the beaches in Sri Lanka; they are so clean and even the water is really clean. It has been like home.

Arpita Kur- 20, Bangalore
This trip has been amazing and exhilarating. The other girls have been really nice to work with. There have been no hard feelings or fights because everyone is so matured and good natured. I was picked for the competition over skype which has made the ride all the more exciting and I’m looking forward to hopefully win the final.

Aradhana Nayar – 25, Delhi
I have always wanted to do this and this year has been extremely lucky for me. The teams that are in charge of us have been amazing. I have been to SL before as an airhostess but I’ve never got a chance to explore the city and it has been a great chance to do exactly that.

Sonal Rihni – 21, Calcutta
It has been great being here but the competition is tough because I’m competing with the top 25 in the country.

Lopamudra Rauti, 21, Magpur
Sri Lanka is beautiful and the people are warm and cosy. I am in the final year of engineering. I am looking forward for the win and am looking forward for a chance at Bollywood.

Shakthaleka Malhotra – 19, Mumbai
So far so good, fun and exciting. There is always nervousness but it is a fun ride.

Sahithya Jagannthan – 24, Chennai
To achieve anything, you need to give up certain things and when the opportunity to take part in the competition came knocking at my door I grabbed it with both hands and there’s no looking back now.

The beauties will be hosted by Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts at a gala event to be held on 16 March.
Life Online was there to capture some of the action…

Mar 13, 2014 12:00 amAre you sure they are from India? Looking at their bodies, for a second I thought they were from Ethiopia! Anyways, I feel sorry for them for their inability to enjoy different kinds of food and that too to their heart's content! All for the sake of looking 'nice' for someone else.... :(

Mar 15, 2014 12:00 amHuman anatomy is not to criticise but to appreciate its curves and curvatures and symmetric. They are full joy and happiness with their beautiful dispossession, which should be admired with no uncertain terms. They are sweet and gorgeous.
