Indian beauties land in Paradise Island

Twenty Indian beauties selected for the Finals of India’s premier beauty contest Femina Miss India 2014 arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday on a SriLankan Airlines flight.

The beauties will be in Sri Lanka till March 16 and during their stay are billed to participate in several events connected with the pageant, which also showcases the country’s historic sites and places of natural beauty.

The very first popular Femina Miss India has been held in India for the past 50 years and this is its 51st year.

The Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts and SriLankan Airlines will jointly host the 20 beauty contestants.
