Who brought you in to the world of fashion?
I saw an advertisement for the Models of the New Generation conducted by Nayana, applied, took part and won.
How did you meet Brian?
As I said, I took part in the Models of the New Generation and won. Brian had been invited to the show and he spotted me out there and that was the turning point in my modelling life.
Has the fashion world been kind to you?
Well to my face people are very nice to me and I have not yet encountered anything too bad as yet. But I have heard of the things that sometimes happen in this field. Hope I never have to experience anything too bad.
What do you hope to achieve with the title?
Well I have already started some charity work with Mr. Wickramarachchi of Wickramarachchi Opticians. Last week we went to Jaffna to give out spectacles and hearing aids to the poor. I hope I can use it (the title) more to help those in need. Also I hope it will fast forward me into the modelling field.
How excited are you about representing our country?
Representing my country is the best opportunity that I have ever got in my life and I am proud of it. I hope I could win the title of Supermodel International, which will then bring Sri Lanka further up in the field of fashion and modelling.

Yes. Singithi Baba
What is your greatest strength?
My family
What is your worst weakness?
I find it hard to wake up early in the morning and get angry easily.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
Well I hope in 20 years to have become a top model and maybe start a business of my own.
As a model what is your favourite outfit?
I like wearing denim pants and tops, as I like to be comfortable, but I also like to dress up and feel elegant sometimes.
