 Philip Seymour Hoffman - Dead from Apparent Drug Overdose

The NYPD were called to the scene by one of the 46-year-old actor’s close friends, who found dead in the bathroom of his apartment this morning at 11:30 am.

An autopsy will be performed on Philip to determine the cause of death and results will come back in a few weeks.

Philip leaves behind son, Cooper Alexander, born in March 2003, and two daughters, Tallulah, born in November 2006, and Willa, born in October 2008, who he shared with costume designer Mimi O’Donnell. Philip and Mimi met while working on his directed play In Arabia We’d All Be Kings in 1999.
