Fancy winning yourself 2 Festival Passes to the highly anticipated 2017 Fairway Galle Literary Festival? Well, here’s your chance and it’s as fun as it can get!
All you have to do is get creative with the rooster image of the FGLF’s official logo! As history has stated one of the theories of the name “Galle” is that the word is derived from the Dutch word ‘Gallus’ which means rooster. Hence why the Dutch have used the rooster as a symbol of Galle!
So head onto the official website of FGFL 2017 and download the blank rooster image and get creative using any medium you feel comfortable with! Once you have finished, print the image and mail it across to the FGLF office.
The 10 best creative entries will not only receive two festival passes to the Festival but will also have their winning image displayed at the Festival in Galle! Any Festival fan from young to old are welcome to participate – age is no barrier here!
The deadline for entries is November 30, 2016 and all entries are required to be posted to the FGLF office at 15/1, Peiris Avenue Kalubowila, Dehiwala.
