Today I bring you hot off the runway - Serenity by Indi.

Indi Yapa Abeywardena took the glossy ramp by storm this Sunday at the Cinnamon Grand, unveiling the 'Serenity by Indi' Spring and Summer 2024 collection with all the flair of a fashion maestro. From the calm vibes to the joyous inspirations drawn from her life's tapestry – motherhood adventures, cherished memories, empowering allies, and even the fur babies – each piece radiates serenity and bliss. Indi, you've outshone yourself once more, turning the runway into a canvas of your vibrant creativity!

The show also had the usual. Who is sitting where drama as RSVP is not everyone’s strength in Sri Lanka: but it was a full house of fashion lovers and trendsetters. It was amazing to see local brands coming to support and show interest in Lankan business, and seeing creative people like Sham Khan who choreographed the show, and his partner in life and crime - backstage manager Masoom. Who flew down especially to support Sri Lankans even when the World Cup was on makes it special. It’s going to be a packed season, so let’s get ready

Danu Innasithamby

Danu Innasithamby is proof that one person can survive on coffee, curiosity, and an unhealthy number of WhatsApp messages. A television host, actor, producer, writer, and professional chatterbox, he’s spent years turning conversations into stories and stories into memorable television.
