Money Gram!

Flight: Brisbane

Date:  14th June

At an altitude of 30,000 ft or above, our human body reacts differently. Even on ground people react differently under the influence of alcohol. Some are happy drunks, some aggressive, and some just plain idiotic. Inside the aircraft, the adverse reactions are increased by 50% or more. So the happiness, aggression or idiocy reflects twice as much it does on ground.

A passenger who’s been drinking way before the flight boarded the aircraft. Everyone kept a close eye on him to make sure that he wouldn’t be drinking more on board. However passengers these days are smart travelers. He’s been going to the lavatory quite frequently. A lady who went after him, found an empty bottle of whiskey placed carefully on top of the baby changing table. It took no time for the crew to realize the passenger has somehow been sneaking in to the lavatory not for the usual purpose.

It was more evident in his behavior as he was now thanking each and every person on the way to his seat. Some said welcome and some just looked flabbergasted. He made his way to each and every galley and did a speech “You guys ROCK! Thank YOU! Thank YOU!” and he took 100 dollar bills out of his pocket and gave it to each crew member.

Then he was making his way down to each passenger, shook their hand and gave them 100 dollars each. Apart from wondering how many 100 dollar bills he carried with him, many people simply said “you’re most welcome!” and took it. I am sure they would update their facebook page as “It’s my lucky day! Some drunken loser gave me 100 bucks!”

He made his way back to the seat, after the cabin crew got involved, and passed out for the rest of the flight. As he was disembarking with a huge headache and an empty pocket the purser gave him a stack of 100 dollar bills which the cabin crew returned back. However for the money he gave away to some passengers, he had to consider that as charity!
