With the Fairway Galle Literary Festival a day away, the excitement is palpable. The bibliophiles are set to gather in Galle to welcome their favourite authors at one of the world’s most exciting literary festivals. The Fairway Galle Literary festival has gained a reputation for being one of the best in the world and there is no place like the FGLF to meet a selection of world renowned authors.  Part of the attraction of this literary festival is the opportunity the organisers provide literary enthusiasts to meet the authors at a selection of lunches and dinners, where you get to listen to the author of your choice narrate anecdotes and talk about their book while enjoying a sumptuous meal.  Create your own festival highlights by sipping cocktails with Justine Picardie as she talks about her book on fashion icon Coco Chanel. For those interested in travel the cocktail at Vila Sielen Diva with Sir Don McCullin and Tom Bell will provide an interesting insight in to the lives of a venerated photographer Sir Don McCullin and travel writer Tom Bell. For lovers of historical writing, lunch with Dinah Jefferies will be an interesting option as she chats about chronicling Ceylonese history. The Masterclasses are also an interesting aspect to the festival as they provide the opportunity to engage with chefs and cookery writers as they create culinary masterpieces.  For a chance to take part in some of these exclusive events and get up close with a varied selection of authors visit the festival website for tickets.
